Day 3 - A month of Thankfulness

Today I am thankful for Technology!  Oh, there is so many reasons to be thankful for technology, from the ability to stay in touch with family and friends so easily, to keeping a budget, and making menus and shopping online, and working and catching up on the news, and waking you up in the morning, and listening to music, and tracking your heart rate when exercising, and getting you from one point to another.  It seems that almost everything that I do now is somehow connected to technology.  Even in church, the words to the songs we sing are put up on a screen with projectors that are connected to a computer screen!  When I am coordinating in early childhood, we use a digital readout to page parents if their child needs them.  My kids use computers in school to take tests.  We entertain ourselves with technology.  We remember appointments and manage our social life and schedule our workouts, etc. with technology.  And I remember when technology was pretty archaic.  My kids will never know a life with record albums and cassette tapes and games without computers or handheld devices.  There is no turning back!  And I am thankful for it.
