Kids say the Darndest Things

Today something funny happened when we came out of CVS.  Delaney wasn’t buckled in her seatbelt and I was starting to pull out.  Zane told her that she had to buckle up or I would get a ticket… or I would get arrested.  And then they’d only have Daddy for a parent.  Then Delaney said, “Until she broke out of jail.”  LOL.  Then they were talking about how I could break out, and how I would have some certain guided missles or torpedo launchers or stuff like that.  Then Zane said, “Well, Mommy’s really strong.  So, she can just shake the bars…” at that point he trailed off and then started talking about a story of when Scooby Doo was behind bars, and he was shaking so hard, he shook the bars open.  I just thought that was kind of funny that he said I was really strong and was capable of breaking out of jail by just shaking the bars.
