So, the kids were watching a little bit of TV today and I overhear Zane, my 5 year old say to Ryan, "That girl is hot."
So, I asked him what he said. It took him a while to admit what he said. Then I asked him what it meant. He kept saying he didn't know. I told him that he wasn't going to get into trouble, but I wanted to know if he knew what it meant. I told him that I was going to make him be my shadow until he told me. So, all of a sudden he remembered.
He said, "Oh, I remember now. Heyden said it. He said it about Ashley." I asked him what it meant about Ashley. He said, "Beautiful".
So, at least he gets it. I told him though that he needs to be careful when he says that, and that he should never say it when parents are around, because the parents can be offended.
Then he asked me what offended meant. I just told him that it meant they might be upset.
