Monkeys on the Bed

Today I sent Ryan & Zane up to their room, because all 3 kids were playing on the couch and jumping off it and hurting each other, and Delaney had started crying again, and I was just annoyed at the million times that the kids were crying today.

I heard them jumping on the bed, and I yelled up for them to stop jumping on the bed, but of course, they ignored me.

So, I bolted upstairs and went into their room and yelled, "No more jumping on the bed!"

They both stopped and looked at me, and I tried to add the following, but I cracked myself up and couldn't get it out without laughing. "Didn't you hear what the Dr. said?"

I walked out mid-sentence so they wouldn't see me laughing, but it didn't do any good. Ryan was laughing, and he called out, "No more monkey's jumping on the bed?"

My New Blog

Well, I've decided to start a new blog. I haven't kept up with my last one very well. But I am ready to get started again, I hope. I am going to use this one to share with friends and family.

I don't really have much to post about for today. When we picked Ryan up from school today, Lisa - the mom I've met on the school grounds and talk to, asked if Ryan would like to come over to play after school one day. He is excited about that! Her son is in 2nd grade, but they go to Awanas together. So, that's nice.

On our way home, Delaney walked/ran the whole way. That's .67 miles. At one point, she was walking backwards. I didn't know she could do that. Then she turned around and fell down and hit her head on the sidewalk. Poor thing.
